Trust & safety
Verify who you're meeting
A few quick checks at the start of every meetup — for members and campaigns alike.
1. Match the meetup code
Every paid booking has a 4-digit meetup code. The member sees it on the booking confirmation; the campaign sees the same code in their dashboard. When you meet, check the digits match before you go anywhere together. If they don't match — or the person can't show the code — don't continue, and report it.
2. Match the face to the profile
The campaign's main photo was reviewed together with their selfie and ID. If the person in front of you clearly isn't the person in the profile, end the meetup and tell us the same day.
3. Keep it in the app
Plan meetups through the platform. Anyone who pushes to move to another app before you've met, asks for payment outside the platform, or wants to change the meeting place to somewhere private is breaking our rules — report it.
4. Something feels off?
Trust your instincts. You can leave at any time. If you're in danger, call 112. Afterwards, use Report on the profile so our team can review it.
These checks help you confirm you're meeting the person you booked. They don't guarantee anyone's behaviour — see what verification means.
