Exactly what stands behind a campaign profile — including what verification can't do.
Every campaign application is reviewed by a person
No profile goes live automatically. Applicants give their name, city, date of birth (18+), the activities they offer and a rate, and upload a profile photo, a selfie and a government ID (Aadhaar or PAN).
A member of our team compares the selfie with the ID photo, checks the name and age, and reads the profile. They can approve it, reject it, or ask for changes — and every decision is recorded with the reviewer, the time and the reason.
Only approved campaigns can be listed. Approved campaigns switch their profile on once they've added a photo and their weekly availability.
What the “ID verified” badge means
The badge means our team reviewed that person's government ID and selfie and they matched the profile at the time of review.
It confirms identity and age (18+). It does not describe someone's character or how they will behave.
What verification does not do — and we won't pretend it does
It is not a criminal background check. We do not currently run police or court record checks.
It is not an automated Aadhaar e-KYC or a biometric face match. ID numbers are checked for format only; we store the last 4 characters, never the full number.
It cannot guarantee anyone's safety. That's why every meetup is in a public place, communication stays in the app, and report and block are always available.
Members are not ID-verified. Treat a first meetup like meeting anyone new: somewhere busy, and tell someone where you'll be.
How your documents are handled
Verification documents are stored in a private storage bucket. Applicants can upload but not read them back; only authorised reviewers can open them, through links that expire after 5 minutes.
Your legal name, date of birth, phone number and ID are never shown on your profile, in search results or to members.
Reporting a concern
Every profile has a Report option. Reports are confidential and reviewed by our team. For something urgent, email safety@rentedgirlfriend.in.
If you are in immediate danger, call 112 first.
When we remove someone
We can suspend or remove any profile at any time. A suspended campaign disappears from search and can't be booked.
Requests for sexual, escort or romantic services, meeting in private places, or asking for payment off the platform lead to removal.
The platonic promise. RentedGirlfriend is for company and activities, never anything else. Both members and campaigns agree to this, and breaking it ends their access.
